About Me
I'm Durga, a Chennai-based acrylic artist and the founder of Kalaithigazh.
Art has been a part of my life for over 15 years and my profession for the past 8 years. I love creating artworks across a variety of subjects and exploring different surfaces, from canvas and wood to glass, ceramics, fabrics, furniture, and wall murals.
I believe every painting brings its own warmth, positivity, and character to the space it becomes a part of. Through Kalaithigazh, my vision is to celebrate India's rich art, culture, and heritage by bringing a touch of it into every home through meaningful, handcrafted artwork. I also conduct art workshops and create live wedding portraits that capture cherished moments.
